Conference Terms & Policies
Payment and Inclusions
Full payment of the registration fee must be made at the time of registration. The conference fee does not include travel, expenses or accommodations, attendees must make those arrangements on their own.
Attendance and participation at the ICF Annual International Conference is limited to registered attendees who have purchased a full conference registration, companion/guest registration, day pass or exhibitor badge and must be of 18 years of age or older.
- The full conference fee includes participation in any session from November 12 – 15, breakfasts, lunches and attendance at the evening events.
- The guest/companion fee includes scheduled breakfasts, luncheons and eventing events from November 12 - 15.
- The fee for any Day Pass includes participation in sessions for the day of the purchased pass, breakfasts, lunches. Thursday's pass includes the evening Networking Reception.
- Exhibitor pass fee includes entrance to the Coaches Exchange (exhibit hall) from November 12 - 15, breakfast and luncheons as well as Thursday evening's Network Reception.
- The Workshop fee includes participation in the selected workshop and session materials that may be distributed. It does not include admittance to the Wednesday, November 12 evening reception event.
On-site Registration & Payment
Registrations will be accepted on-site and payment of on-site registration must be made using a credit card.
Handouts/Presentations
Conference presentations and handouts (when available) as provided by the speakers will be made available for download from the ICF Conference Web site 15 days prior to the start of the conference.
Cancellations/Refunds
Regrettably, no refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after September 13, 2008. Please click on "Cancellations & Refunds" to the left of this page for the ICF's complete cancellation and refund policy and applicable deadlines.
Program/Schedule Changes
It may be necessary, for reasons beyond the control of the ICF, to change program content, speakers and/or time blocks. The ICF is not liable for any changes.
Professionalism
Attendees are expected to behave professionally. Obscene language, abusive or threatening behavior directed to any other conference attendee, speaker, ICF staff or buildng personnel is not conducive to a learning environment and will not be tolerated.
Sharing of Information
Please note that participant contact details will be kept on the ICF database, which will only be used by the ICF. Credit card information will NOT be stored in this database.
Sale of Public Display of Merchandise
Sale or public display of any merchandise or products at any location other than that specifically permitted by the ICF is prohibited. Violators will be subject to cancellation of their room reservations and revocation of their conference participation. This policy will be strictly enforced against violators by both the hotels and the ICF.
Cell Phones and Pagers
Please respect your colleagues and speakers. All cell phones and pagers should be turned off during education sessions and meetings.
ICF Provided Internet Access
The following uses of ICFprovided on-site Internet access are not permitted:
- To violate any local, provincial, or federal statute;
- To vandalize, damage or disable the property of another individual or organization;
- To access another individual's materials, information, or files without permission;
- To use scanning or hacking to exploit tools on public networks; and
- To violate copyright or otherwise use the intellectual property of another individual or organization without permission.
Disclaimer
Speakers alone are responsible for the content of their respective program, presentations and/or handouts which are offered for informational purposes only. The views and opinions expressed in the sessions are not necessarily those of the ICF and are not endorsed by the ICF. The ICF disclaims any and all legal liability or responsibility for the content expressed in the sessions or materials distributed as a part of the session.
Damages and Liability
ICF accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage to the customer’s property or injury or death to the customer’s employees, agents or representatives arising from or in connection with this conference.

Failure to Perform
The ICF shall not be liable for any failure to perform or any delay in performing its obligations if the failure or delay is due directly or indirectly to any cause beyond the reasonable control of the organization, its employees, agents or representatives which shall include, but is not limited to, the following Acts of God: fire, flood, explosion, accident, civil disturbance or emergency or periods of armed conflict.
